Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this research is examining the revised preschool anxiety scale developed by Edwards, Rapee, Kennedy ve Spence (2010) of the Turkish form of reliability and validity in children between the ages of 4-6 years. The sample of the research is composed of the center and the districts of Izmir under the Ministry of National Education kindergartens and who are undergoing training in kindergarten at elementary schools, random (by chance) sample was drawn from 308 children. Revised the Preschool Anxiety Scale developed by Edwards, Rapee, Kennedy ve Spence (2010) validity in children between 4-6 years of age and examining the reliability of the Turkish form of research, which is a descriptive case study. In order to gather data for the research, personal information form, the revised preschool anxiety scale social competence and behavior evaluation - 30,social cohesion and skill scale, problem behavior scale was used. The scales were applied to the mothers of their children. The test-retest reliability in order to apply the research methods after 2 weeks Revised Preschool Anxiety Scale was applied again to the mother of the children in the same sample. The obtained data were analyzed using SPSS 20 and LISREL 8 to 80. When evaluate the overall results of the research of all the Revised Preschool Anxiety Scale Turkish version seems to be a valid and reliable instrument.
