Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this research is to analyse the direct and indirect relation of the behavioural problems of pre-school children with the parenting attitudes of their parents and to analyse the associating effect of self-control between the behavioural problems of the pre-school children and the parental attitudes of their parents. In this research, "Parenting Survey", "Social Competence and Behaviour Assessment", "Self-Control Rating Scale", and "Socio-Demographic Data Form" are used as data collection tools. Sample group of this research comprises the teachers and the parents of 450 pre-school children attending pre-school institutions. SPSS 22. 0 and AMOS package programs are used in parsing of the acquired data. And in the analysis of the parsed data, Path Analysis technique is used to determine the correlation among variables. According to the findings, self-control has direct and indirect effects on parents' attitudes and behavioural problems of pre-school children. And in the conclusion of the research, it is found out that there is a positive and direct relation between the parenting attitudes of the parents and the self-control, and an indirect relation between the self-control and behavioural problems.
