Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between the school adaptation levels of preschool students and the early symptoms of learning disabilities they have. The relational screening method, one of the quantitative research methods, was used in the study. 424 students studying in private and independent kindergartens affiliated with the Ministry of National Education in the Central District of Isparta Province in the 2024-2025 Academic Year, and their teachers and parents participated in the study. The research data were collected using the "Demographic Information Form", "School Adaptation Teacher Rating Scale-Short Form" and "Learning Disability Early Symptoms Screening Scale". According to the research findings, the school adaptation levels of children at risk of learning disabilities were found to be lower than children without learning disabilities. It was found that the school adaptation levels of female students were higher than male students. It was found that male students had higher early symptoms of learning disabilities than female students. While there was no significant relationship between age and school adaptation level, it was found that as the students' age increased, the early symptoms of learning disabilities decreased. As a result of the research, a negative significant relationship was found between early signs of learning difficulties and school adjustment levels. While the research findings supported the relevant literature in terms of some variables, they differed in terms of some variables. The relevant findings were discussed with their similar and different aspects and suggestions were listed.
