Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the opinions of the administrators and teachers working in preschool institutions on the application of outdoor teaching techniques, which have an important place in the educational processes of children. For this purpose, 10 preschool administrators and 10 teachers working in the 2020-2021 academic year in the Keçiören district of Ankara were interviewed. This research was carried out with the basic qualitative research design. Purposive sampling technique was used to determine the participants. The data used within the scope of the research were obtained with a semi-structured interview form. The collected data were subjected to descriptive analysis and coded. As a result of the research, it was found that teachers and school principals focused on the concept of "out of school" when describing outdoor teaching techniques, they had insufficient knowledge to apply outdoor teaching techniques and did not include much in their plans, and their views on outdoor learning environments were inadequate and they were "outdoor". It was seen that they are limited to "out-of-school environments". As a result of the research, suggestions were made based on the findings.
