Investigation of the relationship between school administrators' ethical leadership behaviors and the organizational justice of physical education and sports teachers

The aim of this research was to examine the effects of physical education and sports teachers on ethical leadership behaviors and perceptions of organizational justice. The research included 90 women and 254 men, 344 teachers working in schools in the province of Sakarya in the academic year 2019-2020. The "Ethical Leadership Scale" was used to determine the ethical leadership perceptions of the teachers who participated in the research, and the "Organizational Justice Scale" was used to determine the perceptions of organizational justice. After the normality test, t-test, ANOVA and Pearson Correlation Analysis were used to test sub-problems. At the end of the research, statistically significant differences were detected between the ethical leadership perceptions of teachers and their perceptions of organizational justice, by variables of gender, age, professional seniority, term of office at school, and school principal. It was concluded that there was a positive and positive relationship between ethical leadership and organizational justice perceptions in order to determine the relationship directions between dependent variables. As a result, it is observed that physical education and sports teachers are in line with the studies in the literature in line with the findings obtained as a result of the analysis on ethical leadership and organizational justice perceptions. However, in the light of the findings, it was concluded that ethical leadership behaviors are important in raising the organizational justice perceptions of physical education and sports teachers.
