Evaluation of the relationship between the team leadership behaviors of school administrators and the job satisfaction of teachers of applied courses

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the relationship between the team leadership behaviors of school administrators and the job satisfaction of teachers of applied courses.Within the scope of the research, the priority is to measure the perceptions of the applied course teachers towards the team leadership behaviors exhibited by the school administrators and to measure the job satisfaction levels of the applied course teachers as a result of these perceptions. Within the scope of the research, first of all, a personal information form was given to the participants in order to determine their demographic characteristics, and then the Team Leadership Scale and the Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale were used. The participants of this research were formed by applied lessons teachers working in private primary and secondary schools in Kadıköy district of Istanbul province in the 2021-2022 academic years. The number of teachers participating in the research is 138. In the research firstly the data were obtained by using the personal information form, the "Minnesota" job satisfaction scale and the team leadership scale. "SPSS 2022" program was used in the analysis of the data.In the data obtained within the scope of the research, it has seen that the teachers of applied courses have high perceptions of the team leadership behaviors and job satisfaction levels exhibited by school administrators.Teachers who are managed with team leadership have higher job satisfaction levels.When the findings obtained as a result of the research were evaluated, it was observed that the job satisfaction levels of the teachers of applied courses were related to the team leadership behaviors exhibited by the school administrators.
