An evaluation of the Central Anatolian Kubaba cult in the light of the Oluz Höyük Kubaba Altar

The Mother Goddess Cult is a belief that has been encountered in various geographies and cultures since ancient times. Depictions of the Mother Goddess, who is worshipped as the "Goddess of Nature", are frequently encountered in texts, idols and wall reliefs. Archaeological studies, which began with the discovery of the Kubaba Altar unearthed in the 4B Architectural Layer of Oluz Höyük, located 25 km southwest of Amasya, and gained momentum with the discovery of the lower part of the Kubaba Statuette, have proven the existence of the Kubaba (Mother Goddess) cult in Oluz Höyük. In this master's thesis, it is aimed to evaluate the Kubaba Cult in Central Anatolia and its immediate surroundings, based on the Kubaba Altar discovered in Oluz Höyük.
