Özet (EN)

Determination of the postural effect of clinic pilates exercises in the adult patients with shoulder-neck posture problem. This study was designed to investigate the effect of clinic pilates exercises in adult patients with shoulder-neck posture problem. This study was designed to investigate the effect of clinic pilates exercise in adult patients whith shouder- neck posture problem. 51 patients with anterior tilt head and shoulder protraction posture were included in this study and they were randomly divided into two groups as clinic pilates (group 1, n=26) and classical posture exercises (group 2, n=25).Patients' demographics and background information were recorded. Deep neck fleksor muscle(DNF) endurance was evaluated by pressure biofeedback unit (PBU). Head, neck and shoulder posture were evaluated with wall- tragus, wall-acromion, tragus-acromion and chin-sternal notch distance. Flexibility for shoulder region was evaluated with back scratch test. The patients were evaluated both before the study and 6 weeks later. When the effects of the treatment were evaluated , there has been a meaningful difference between the groups wall-acromion, chin-sternal notch and wall tragus (p<0,05); for between groups deep neck flexor endurance, back scratch and wall-tragus distance (p<0,05).As a result, ıt has been observed that clinic pilates is more effective exercise method for patients with shoulder-neck posture problem in terms of DNF endurance, shoulder girdle flexibility, posture exchange.
