University-industry cooperation in vocational school level and a model offer about application in local level

IV ABSTRACT By scientific data production and new technological developments, over the international competition level, for the development of nation, universities have great functions. In this process, the studying of universities alone causes various matters such as time, financing and the transfer of technology into application. For that reason, universities and application fields have to cooperate. In the macro dimension of universty-industry cooperation, scientific data and technological innovation are produced, its international patent right is get and is made benefical for the humans, in the micro dimension, the aim is to transfer theoratical data got at university environment into practical application fields. In the first chapter of the study, the sides and concepts of cooperation constitutes, the training concept which has relations with university-industry cooperation, the effects of training into development, productiusty, employement level and technological development in the training process, the training of tutors, the relations between university-industry cooperation and local development are mentioned. In the second chapter, the conditions of university-industry cooperation nowadays in Turkey and the subjects of university-industry cooperotions in some other countries, training dependent on industry and the themes of cooperation between YOK and ISO foundation are mentioned. In the third chapter, how to constitute university-industry cooperation and making the strategic plans, industrial sectors and the mutually of universities, the cooperation sides and their mistaken expectations, incuboter centers and technoparks are searched. In the last chapter, for the active application of cooperation in the local level, new foundation strategic plans and a sample applicotion made between Gediz Vocational School and a dress making firm in that region is mentioned.
