Abstract (EN)
Compound verbs are phrases in which one or more nouns or verbs come together, abstracting from their own meanings and creating a new meaning together. Since it is a grammatical category frequently used in written and spoken language, this verb type, which is used to fully understand what is conveyed and describe it in detail, maintains its importance. For this reason, an analysis was made within the scope of compound verb phrases. The story named Jetim Bota by Kazakh writer Oralhan Bökey was transcribed and translated into Turkey Turkish. Compound verb phrases and their functions in this story have been identified. In this study, which is limited to the identified compound verbs, diachronic forms of these verbs are examined. The study was conducted by limiting synchronic, that is, the situation in which a word in the language is in a static state, to Kazakh Turkish. Diachronic studies, that is, which can be determined by determining the development and change of a word over time, have been determined in the form of sentences from the forms of the Turkish language in historical periods. İn addition, in this study, the form units used by Kazakh writer Oralhan Bökey and included in a unified verb phrase that is not included in the category of Kazakh Turkish grammar, which can be called specific to his period, place of residence and style, have also been identified.
