Abstract (EN)

This study, conducted in 2023 in Eskişehir, comprehensively examined the effects of various fertilizer applications on the growth and yield of the black cumin (Nigella sativa L.) Cameli variety. The study was meticulously planned and executed as field trials at the Faculty of Agriculture, Eskişehir Osmangazi University. The fertilizers used in the trials included DAP fertilizer, applied at 15 kg per hectare. Liquid fertilizer was administered at a ratio of 2 liters per 850 liters of water per hectare and was applied a total of three times: during the stem elongation stage, the beginning of flowering, and the fruit filling period. Humic acid, in liquid form, was applied at a solution of 300 ml per hectare to support the plant's growth process. Amino acid-containing fertilizer was applied periodically 25 days, 40 days, and 55 days after sowing. All these applications were meticulously planned, considering plant growth and weather conditions. In the amino acid trial group, plant height ranged from 40.9 to 74.5 cm, the number of capsules varied between 3 and 13, the number of branches was between 3 and 8, and the thousand-seed weight ranged from 2.1 to 3.1 g. In the control group, plant height ranged from 43.7 to 78.3 cm, the number of capsules varied between 4 and 20, the number of branches was between 3 and 8, and the thousand-seed weight ranged from 1.9 to 3 g. In the liquid fertilizer group, plant height ranged from 49 to 75.1 cm, the number of capsules varied between 4 and 19, the number of branches was between 2 and 8, and the thousand-seed weight ranged from 2 to 3.2 g. In the humic acid application group, plant height ranged from 45 to 73.8 cm, the number of capsules varied between 4 and 19, the number of branches was between 2 and 8, and the thousand-seed weight ranged from 2.2 to 2.9 g. In the DAP application group, plant height ranged from 41.6 to 74.3 cm, the number of capsules varied between 4 and 22, the number of branches was between 3 and 8, and the thousand-seed weight ranged from 2.2 to 3.1 g.
