Abstract (EN)

It is evident that judicial support personnel, who are responsible for ensuring the efficient and orderly conduct of judicial services and for taking all necessary measures in this regard, constitute an indispensable element of the justice system. In this context, job satisfaction of judicial support staff is one of the most critical factors affecting their productivity and, consequently, the quality of judicial services. Therefore, this study aims to examine the mediating role of organizational citizenship in the effect of organizational justice perception on job satisfaction among judicial support personnel. To this end, data were collected through a survey administered to 381 judicial support staff members working at the Erzurum Courthouse and the Erzurum Regional Court of Justice. The data obtained were analyzed using regression analysis. According to the results of the analyses, organizational justice perception, through its subdimensions of interactional, distributive, and procedural justice, has a significant and positive effect on job satisfaction. Furthermore, organizational citizenship, through its subdimensions of altruism/conscientiousness, courtesy, and civic virtue, also significantly affects job satisfaction. While overall organizational justice has a significant and positive effect on job satisfaction, organizational citizenship plays a mediating role in this relationship.
