Abstract (EN)

The perception of organizational justice affects both many positive and negative behaviours of workers. Especially, organizational silence and turnover intention are important results of organizational injustice for organization and workers. Organizational silence has gained importance in organizations recently. Especially for their negative results, the perception of organizational justice and turnover intention draw attention by researchers. However, it is possible to say that there is not enough work on organizational silence. In this study, the perception of organizational justice is analyzed in three dimensions as distributive, procedural and interactional justice. On the other hand, organizational silence is examined as acquiescent, pro-social and defensive silence. The turnover intention is handled in one dimension. In the study, the aim is to detect the mediating effect of organizational silence on effect of perception of organizational justice on turnover intention. In this context; the study was done with 310 white collar workers of a big business, which operates in data processing industry, in Istanbul and correlation, regression, multilinear regression, t test and ANOVA analyses were applied. Through the study, it is detected that the perception of organizational justice affects organizational silence and turnover intention in a negative way. And it is specified that organizational silence affects turnover intention positively. In addition, it is observed that pro-social and defensive silence behaviours take on the task of mediating effect on the effect of perception of organizational justice on turnover intention. And it is also observed that acquiescent silence behaviour has no mediating effect. According to these results; it is noticed that workers have turnover intention against injustice both directly and by means of organizational silence. Besides, it is possible to say that workers do not adopt unfair situations and they have turnover intention directly without being silent.
