The mediating role of organizational trust in the relationship between organizational justice and organizational citizenship behavior: A research in the public sector

Organizations aim to use behavioral factors and these behaviors effectively, and to obtain effective results in order to achieve high performance.Employee behavior and perceptions, as the organization's most important source, ensure the success of the organization.Notable issues in the literature include organizational justice, organizational citizenship behavior, and concepts of organizational trust.The aim of the research is to determine the mediating role of organizational trust in the relationship between organizational justice and organizational citizenship behavior.Organizational justice and organizational citizenship behavior include explaining concepts of organizational trust, determining impacts, and the relationship between them and the research process.Research into the interpretation of organizational justice, the behavior of organizational citizenship, concepts of organizational trust, and the identification of their effects and the relationship between them.This research was conducted with 258 public employees working in various public institutions in Afyonkarahisar Province.The search data was obtained using the survey method.In the obtained data analysis, t test, anova test, correlation analysis, hierarchical regression analysis and finally sobel test.As a result of the research, it was noted that public employee perceptions of organizational justice, behavior of organizational citizenship, and perceptions of organizational confidence were positively and concretely related to each other.It was determined that organizational trust has a mediation effect in the relationship between organizational justice and the behavior of organizational citizenship.
