Abstract (EN)

Companies need performance measurement methods to see their position according to their rivals and determine their situation in the field that they serve products and services. Increase of rivalry, disappear of borders with the globalization, development of information technologies and variations with the customer expectations increase the performance measurement?s importance and necessary. Because of this reasons only possess a one dimension financial performance measurement has some problems and deficiencies.In this framework after inspecting the multi-dimensional performance measurement methods that used the financial and non-financial measurements together generally we search the Performance Prism that integrate the all methods with details. The thought manner constitutes the Performance Prism, dimensions of the model, application processes and success conditions with the examples were examined. The Performance Prism theoretically consist of five dimensions; Stakeholder Satisfaction, Strategies, Processes, Capabilities and Stakeholder Contribution. We perform 120 hotels which have a five star business certification in this research. We use statistic and mathematical methods for the analysis of the results. At the end of the research, we test the basic dimensions and indicators of the theoretic model Performance Prism in five star hotels and attain a dependable and current performance measurment model.Key Words: Performance, Performance Measurement, Performance Prism, Stakeholders.
