Abstract (EN)

Organizational silence is the silence of employees who do not express their opinions about the problems and solutions to the problems experienced in their workplaces, express their thoughts about the functioning, and do not share their objections to the managers on issues that concern them such as work flow and task distribution. If this silence spreads throughout the organization, a climate of organizational silence occurs. The primary purpose of this study is to determine the level of organizational silence among Munzur University employees and whether the organizational silence levels of employees differ significantly according to personal characteristics such as age, gender, education, and title. In the studies on organizational silence, it has been concluded that when the climate of organizational silence is eliminated, it will contribute to the development of institutions and will adapt more to changing environmental and technological conditions. In this context, the development of activities to eliminate organizational silence and solutions to this problem are mentioned. In order to investigate whether the climate of silence is caused by the hierarchy or the lack of adequate communication channels, questions were asked to the participants and according to the answers given, it was tried to determine the effects of organizational silence on the employees of the organization. Survey method was used in this study. The accuracy of the hypotheses was tested with statistical analysis.
