Abstract (EN)

In today's age of intense competition and globalization, it is vital for organizations to adapt to development and change; In this context, high performance of employees and increasing their commitment to the organization stand out as a critical element. Achieving the performance expected from employees can be achieved through employees' commitment to the organization. However, concepts such as organizational silence and organizational hypocrisy, which are frequently encountered problems in organizations, are concepts related to organizational commitment. Revealing the relationship between these concepts will contribute to academic literature. In addition, it is seen as useful in terms of implementing the solutions developed to reduce organizational hypocrisy and organizational silence, which negatively affect organizational commitment, in organizations. In this study, organizational silence, organizational hypocrisy and organizational commitment issues have been tried to be explained in detail. The main purpose of the research is to reveal the relationship between the organizational silence and organizational hypocrisy perceptions of employees in the textile industry in Batman city center and their organizational commitment behaviors. The population of this research, designed in the relational scanning model, consists of textile business employees in Batman city center in 2021-2022. 400 participants were determined as the sample number by using the judgmental sampling method (selecting people who will serve the purpose of the research), one of the non-probability sampling methods, and based on various statistical values. The surveys of 400 of the 400 people who returned the survey were considered valid. Personal Information Form, Organizational Silence Scale, Organizational Hypocrisy Scale and Organizational Commitment Scale were used as data collection tools in the research. Reliability, validity, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis were performed to test the model constructed with the data obtained from the research. As a result of the research, it was determined that there was a significant relationship between organizational silence and organizational hypocrisy and organizational commitment.
