Abstract (EN)
In this study, the concepts of organizational silence, organizational communication climate, and employee performance were used as the variables of the research, and it was aimed to examine the relationships among these variables. For this purpose, the existing literature related to organizational silence, organizational communication climate, and employee performance was reviewed, and a research study was conducted within this framework. To achieve this goal, an online survey was administered to 803 academic and administrative staff members working at Bayburt University, and data were collected from 294 voluntary participants. The data obtained from the surveys were analyzed using the SPSS software program. Factor and reliability analyses were conducted on all the collected data, and the hypotheses of the study were tested based on these analyses. According to the results of the research, it was found that the effect of organizational silence on the organizational communication climate was positive and statistically significant. Additionally, the relationship between organizational communication climate and employee performance was also determined to be positive and statistically significant. When examining the relationship between organizational silence and employee performance, it was concluded that organizational silence had a positive and statistically significant effect on employee performance, albeit at a lower level. All the analyses conducted to examine the relationship among organizational silence, organizational communication climate, and employee performance are presented in the findings section of the study. The results are presented in tables, interpreted individually, and conclusions and recommendations have been added to the study.
