Organizational citizenship behavior and organizational innovations on total quality management practices: An example application in businesses in TR33 region of Zafer Development Agency

The aim of this research is to investigate the relationship between Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and Organizational Innovation (OI) with Total Quality Management (TQM) Practices. Organizational Citizenship Behavior Scale, Organizational Innovation Scale and Total Quality Management Practices Scale were used for research. The sample of the study included 397 white and blue-collar workers in TR33 Zafer Development Agency between 2010-2017, grants, incentives and support of busınesses. SPSS (18.0) and AMOS (16.0) were used for statistical analysis in the study. Distribution of demographic data with SPSS, Explicit Factor analyzes, Validity and Reliability analyzes, t tests, ANOVA tests, Correlation and Regression analyzes were performed. Confirmatory factor analyzes and path analyzes of the scales were performed with AMOS. There were positive and significant relationships between Organizational Citizenship Behavior and Organizational Innovation with TQM Practices in the research. In addition, positive and significant relationships were found between subscales of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (Altruism, Courtesy, Civil Virtue, Conscience and Sportsmanship) and Organizational Innovation (Behavioral Innovation, Product / Service Innovation, Market Innovation, Strategic Innovation and Process Innovation) with TQM Practices.
