Abstract (EN)

Historical games has been a subject matter since the beginning of the drama. In this study, the same period of history (time) according to plays of two different playwrights has been searched. The plays which are called as "Yıldız Yargılanması" by Orhan Asena and "Devlet ve İnsan" by Güngör Dilmen talk about the Tanzimat period and the cases in five years after the death of Abdülaziz. Mithat Paşa whos was innovative (open-minded) and accused as the man who was responsible fort he death of Abdülaziz, had beed judged act the courth of Yıldız, afterwards he had exiled to Taif and had been slaughtered. Innovative Orhan Asena who took place in the fifties and wrote many plays, made the Turkish drama developed, has kept the society norms, Universal valwes, current approachs, cognitive dimensions and his objective point of views, while writing his plays. Güngör Dilmen who has took place in sixties, as the one of the main playwrights made the Turkish Theatre reach its purpose. He generally used historical and mythology subjects his language and his technique has been always extra ordinary so that he took place as an innovative writer in Turkish drama. In the study, "Yıldız Yargılanması" by Asena and "Devlet ve İnsan" by Dilmen has been researched with historical truth, the similarities and differences have been found out in respect to their point of views. While both writers looking at the same period of time.
