Abstract (EN)

In this study, stress effects of NaCl in different concentrations on the development of O.onites and O.majorana by using meristem culture. It was determined that 0.01 %, 0.02 %, 0.03 % g concentrations of NaCl decrase the development of the plants. Other hand, on the 0.01 % g NaCl concentration, lenghth of root and leaves increased. It was determined that, O.onites ve O.majorana could tolerate NaCl, and different concentrations of NaCl decrase the development of the plants, but not completely abort. Chlorophyll and carotenoid concentrations were determined in the O. majorana, which cultured in normal MS, 0.02 % and 0.03 % g salt containing culture mediums. As the amount of salt increases, a reduction in the amount of chloropyll-a and chloropyll-b and an increase in the amount of carotenoids has been observed.
