Abstract (EN)
In the fist part of this study, chemical compositions and antimicrobial activities of essential oil of Rhinanthus angustifolius subsp. grandiflorus plants' were investigated. Essential oil was obtained from the all parts of the plant by hydrodistillation and analyzed by GC-FID and GC-MS. 31 components representing 99.46% of the total oils were characterized. The main components of these species were found to be 1H-Indene, 2,3-dihydro-5-methyl- (%25.137), α-Cubebene (%19.27), 1-Hexadecene (%15.59), n-Hexadecanoic acid (%12.14) from Rhinanthus angustifolius subsp. Grandiflorus. The antimicrobial activity of the isolated essential oil of the plant was also investigated. Antimicrobial activity was observed for the essential oil of Rhinanthus angustifolius subsp. Grandiflorus against B. cereus, E. coli, E.coli O157:H7 ve S. Aureus microorganisms. .In additon to that, effect on ferments of B. cereus, E. coli, E.coli O157:H7 ve S. Aureus was detected. In the second part of this study, the addition reaction of starting material of β-pinen with dinitrobenzene sulfenyl chloride was carried out in the room temperature. The new terpen's derivatives that obtained from the result of reaction was isolated. In the result of long studies, three different reaction productions were obtained purely. Chemistry of new compositions was defined by the spectroscopic methods by using NMR, IR, mass spectral data and elemental analysis techniques. In the study, the result showed that β-pinen gives additional products with the effect of skeletal arrangement. Besides, new three compound antioxidant and radical removing effects measures were made. The resut of measurements is three synthesized compound have possessess antioxidant effect.
