Abstract (EN)

In this study, using solar water heating system in Gumushane forest villagers was evaluated to take advantages of socio-economic and ecological status. For this purpose, 70 forest villagers were surveyed and the results were analyzed in Gumushane. In the scope of the research, face-to-face surveys were conducted because of family information given to solar energy from ORKOY branch of Gumushane Forestry Directorate. The data in the questionnaires were transferred to the digital environment and statistical analysis was performed with SPSS (11.5) software. As analyzes; t analysis, percentage and frequency distribution methods using solar water heating systems had tried to explain the effects of the forest villages. Distribution of solar water heating systems in Gumushane was explained in the forest villages. As a result, solar water heating systems have not provided a positive effect on the consumption of firewood in forest villages. For cooking and water heating, there have been significant savings. The gender of the respondents were 4% female and 96% male. The proportion of advanced and middle aged and older elderly participants is 60%. The ratio of primary school graduates is 64%. In most of the forest villagers is worried about the economic future expectations.
