Abstract (EN)
The aims of this research are to designate the amount of credit usage of fisheries farms in Middle Blacksea Region, reveal the problems that they are going through the process of getting a bank loan and determine the demands of them to generate solutions that help to expand the sector.Data collected by complete inventory method with appropriate surveys to 49 managements that are registered to Ministry of Agriculture and Village Affairs constitute the material of this research.According to observed data, it was determined that 51% of the managements use credit. They got bank loans because 57.14% of managements needed capital cost, 22.45% of managements increased capacity and 10.20% of them needed more inputs. Moreover, 91.67% of managements that have special company management structure and 38.83% of managements that have special personal management structure got bank loans. According to the capacity groups, it was determined as the capacity of 32.7% of the managements were less than 10 tons, 34.7% of them were less than 30 tons, 12.2% were less than 100 tons and 20.4% were 100 tons or more. It was seem that the amount of credit usage increases as more as the capacity of the managements rises (p<0.05). It was determined as 12.25% of the managements insure their products. The interaction between the situation of being insured and using credit was found important statistically (p<0.05). Managemets that insured their products use credits sixteen fold of managements not to. Although 96% of the managemets found interest rate of T.R. Ziraat Bank acceptable, 64% of them found getting a bank loan hard and 60% of them considered that the credit limit is very low. It was determined as the most important demands of the producers from the public institutions are information transfer (20.41%) and credit (18.37%).In conclusion, it is estimated that credit usage would be increased by development of fisheries insurance system and decreasing the assurance and formalities. Therefore the portion taken by the sector from the national income would be increased by the transferring of the used credits to the production.Key words: Middle Blacksea Region, Working Capital Loan, T.R. Ziraat Bank, Aquaculture, Fisheries Insurance
