Abstract (EN)
Considering that the rate of production of knowledge and technology and the rate of consumption grow proportionally, the importance of technology based on scientific knowledge for all segments of society and states increases. Countries will be able to produce, control and use technology thanks to qualified and highly educated individuals. In this respect, it is important to manage the educational processes well in terms of digital transformation and to raise the awareness of the society. Necessary awareness should be given to secondary school students who have the potential of a qualified workforce. With the study, a scale development study was conducted to reveal the content awareness of secondary school students about digital transformation and the findings were revealed. The research was designed according to the quantitative research method. The population of the research consists of 10,345 secondary school students studying in Bilecik, and the sample is 1221 students reached by random sampling. The study was carried out on the data set of 1196 students by removing the forms of 25 students who were not consistent. In this context, content validity analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis were applied to the data set, and the Digital Transformation Content Awareness Scale consisting of 41 items gathered under 3 factors as Knowledge (20), Benefit (13), Impact (8) was obtained. By means of the data set, the hypotheses about the demographic characteristics of the students were tested. In the findings, it was determined that there was a significant difference in terms of the district, class, school type, program type, field branch type,department, tablet phone computer usage time, information source and state of being informed, but there was no significant difference in terms of tablet phone computer use. has been done. Considering the integrity of the model in terms of gender and age group, it has been determined that there may be a moderator effect. At the end of the study, suggestions that can shed light on practitioners, researchers and policy makers are presented.
