The opinions of the high school students? relations with their parents

In this research, it has been observed if the adolescents? relationship with their parents and how they perceive this relation differentiate or not, according to his gender, age, school, grade, number of the brothers or sisters, the birth sequence, the number of the family, the settlement place of family, the length of education, occupation, and length of income of the parents.The statistic techniques have been supplied for this research. Annova, Chi-square and t tests are used to analyze the survey.The result of the research the girl adolescences and their parents reach an agreement more easily than the boy adolescences. When the adolescences get older, they have got more problems with their parents. The adolescences in the 9th grade bound to their ages have better relationship with their parents. It?s determined the adolescences attending to Science and Anatolian high schools have got the better relationship with their parents than the adolescences attending to High schools and Vocational schools. It?s been observed that when the education level of the parents increases, the adolescences have got better relationship. The adolescences whose parents living in the city get have got better relationship than the others. It?s determined when the income of the family are getting more the relationship is getting better in the family. It?s said that they can understand each other although the adolescences have got some conflict and disagreement with the parents, and they don?t think pessimistic about their parents.As a result, it?s determined that the adolescences? comprehension style to their parents effects them positively or not as connecting to developing period of the adolescents.Key words: Adolescent, Parent, Relations, Conflict of generation, Relations of adolescent-and parents
