Investigation of the levels of secondary school 5th grade students' learning outcomes of mathematics, science and Turkish courses a data mining study Afyonkarahisar sample)

The main aim of this research is to determine the mathematics lesson, science lesson and Turkish course acquisition levels of 5th grade secondary school students and to reveal the relationship between the levels of achievement of these three courses by using data mining method. The sample of the study consisted of 4.564 fifth grade students who were studying in Afyonkarahisar in 2017-2018 academic year and determined by random sampling method from all secondary schools. As a data collection tool, achievement test related to mathematics science and Turkish language courses has been established. The data were collected with the success test and the data collected was analyzed in the WEKA program by data mining method. According to the research findings; it was found that the success levels of the students in achieving the achievement of mathematics courses were 49.52 out of 100, the level of achievement of the Turkish course was 54.95 and the acquisition level of the science courses was 52.3.
