In this study, the nutritional habits of adolescents studying in Kartal district of Istanbul province were examined. A total of 500 secondary school students participated in the study. The mean age of the female students participating in the study was 12.9±0.34, body weight 55.2±7.5, and height 165.6±9.58. The mean age of the male students participating in the study was 12.4±0.47, body weight 71.3±11.38, and height 168.4±9.37. When the findings were analysed, a significant relationship was found between the adalsean nutrition scale (ABAS) and the nutrition knowledge scale (NBS). Significant differences were found between ABNS and nutrition, between external factors and ABNS, and between exercise and ABNS. In addition, there is a significant relationship between body image perception and ABAS, between external factors and ABAS, between nutrition and ABAS, and between exercise and ABAS. In the relationship between sub-dimensions, a significant relationship was observed between body image perception and external factors, between body image perception and nutrition, and between body image perception and exercise (p<0.05). As a result, although it was determined that the nutritional habits of the adolescents subjected to the study were determined in a good direction, the aspects of the adolescents open to improvement were presented in detail.
