In this study, the effects of music-supported activities (karaoke technique) on students academic achievements, attitudes and academic self-perceptions were examined. This study was carried out by using qualitative and quantitative research methods (mixed method). This research was carried out in a public school in ġahinbey/Gaziantep for along seven weeks (14 hours). The subject of "Ataturk‟s Principles" in the "Kemalizm" unit forms the application topic of the research. In the experimental group, the lessons were carried out textbook- centred. The adaption of karaoke method/technique to regular school lesson was made in a certain operational order. Firstly, the songs that students like were determined and the karaoke forms of there songs were found. During the course, the students/subject/listened to the original song first and then the karaoke form. Later on, the students wrote new words compatible with the course/lesson using the advantage of the rhythm of music. These words were made one complete song and arranged as a karaoke video with the support of appropriate visuals. After that, these videos were sang by the students individually and together for an hour for each of the principles. The academic achievement, attitude scale and academic self- perception scales were applied to 58 students (29 students in experimental group and 29 students in control group) equals to each other in experimental and control groups. After applying music- supported activities to the students in experimental group, academic achievement test, attitude scale and academic self- perceptions scales were applied as a final test to experimental and control groups durıng the process. Durıng the application process, the feelings and thoughts of students were acquired by applying daily reflective forms to the students in experimental group. The quantitative data of the study was obtained by the way of SPSS 15.0 data analysis program. It has been reached that there is a significant difference between the result of academic achievement pretest and post-test of the experimental group students according to the findings of the research. Looked at the feelings and thoughts reflected in the reflective diaries, the students expressed that having fun, hoppily and studying energitecolly during this process and this situation increased the desire to come to the class. They stated that they waited impatiently fort he coming of the history of the revolution and now they could easily solve the qestions about the course. Students now believe that they can be successful in this course. They also say karaoke in their daily and so lesson will be more permanent. These are the sentences in the diares. According to research findings, the results of the academic achievement test, attitude scale of the experimental group and the control group students were analyzed.
