Determination of folklore elements in the works of Osman Çeviksoy

Folklore has a place in almost all areas of our lives. Mankind, as the most important passer of the cuture he lives, uses the folkloric elements at every steps of his life. Culture and society are two important inseperable elements. Culture effect is perceived deeply in all steps of life. These two factors make a whole by engaging. The most important element of culture is society, culture takes form and In our study, the folkloric elements in the works of Osman ÇEVİKSOY were examined. Osman ÇEVİKSOY's both teacher and writer identity and his having been a Turkish culture courses teacher in Germany(to the Turkish worker's children) are going to shed light on comparison of two cultures. In the first part of our study, life and literary identity of Osman ÇEVİKSOY and the effect of folk culture on modern culture are examined.
