In this study, handicrafts and cuisine culture in Sinop from Ottoman to Republic were examined. Both handicrafts were explained in the Central District of Sinop, Ayancık, Boyabat, Erfelek, Saraydüzü, Türkeli, Dikmen, Gerze, Durağan and the dishes that make up the cuisine culture were transferred to the study through written sources, images and interviews with the local people. The geographical location of Sinop makes its social, cultural and demographic structure open to change. Sinop has been under the sovereignty of many states and tribes throughout history. The cultural elements left by each state under its sovereignty have also manifested themselves in handicrafts and local cuisine. The study consists of four chapters. In the first part, the geographical situation and history of Sinop province are briefly mentioned. In the second part, general information about Sinop districts is given and local handicrafts are supported with visuals. In the third section, Sinop food culture is mentioned and the dishes made in Sinop's districts are discussed together with their recipes. In addition, some traditions in Sinop are also mentioned in this section. In these traditions, information about how the dishes which are the chief architects of Sinop cuisine culture are made in the traditions and the applications of traditions are included.
