The State of England, which had been an important country for Ottoman diplomacy, established latest relationship with Ottoman Empire compared to other Eurepean states. The two states, contacted diplomatically at 1535, had developed their relations in time. England, was effective on Ottoman Empire, looked out its benefits through historical process.France's occupy of Egypt had been the break point for the relations between Ottoman-England in 19. century. England protected Egypt lands from France and kept its benefits rigid; thus resulted Ottomans to go back over and renew relationships with France. As a result the relations between Ottomans and England destroyed. England declared war against Ottomans just after Ottomans declared war against Russians and confederated with France. However, English soldiers were repulsed although they came very close to Istanbul. Following this case Enland aimed at Egypt but because of confederation agreement of France and Russia, was obliged to offer peace against Ottomans. On 5th January, 1809 Kal'a-i Sultaniye Agreement was signed between Ottomans and England. In this study, it was aimed that Ottoman-England War and Kal'a-i Sultaniye Agreement will be well explained in the light of sources and archive records.
