The minority schools in rumelia according to lesson plans and education schedules of Ottoman

In this study, the schools that founded by minorities living under auspices of Ottoman in Rumelian areas are researched and analyzed. In this study the document review is used which is one of the quantitative research methods. While the activities that performed by minority schools were being researching; the required data had obtained by examining the Ottoman State's Law Book that contains recording of lesson plans and laws and regulations. Beside the Lesson Plans and Law Books which are basis source of our research; the sources, articles, theses and documents which relate to our subject were utilized as well. As a result of required data; the names, degrees, cities and towns where they are founded, number of boys and girls in the classrooms, etc. statistical informations of Minority Schools were presented in charts by translating from Ottoman Turkish into Turkish. At the end of the research; the minorities living under auspices of Ottoman has found a lot of educational institution especially on the areas where their population is high by taking advantage of the Ottoman's loss of power; beside the educations that given by these schools, they were turned to a tool for spreading of each nation's (Greek, Bulgarian, Serbian) own independence, denomination and culture; and also the endeavor of assimilation by founding these schools in provinces as like Shkoder, Kosovo where Muslim people were identified.
