Özet (EN)
For this purpose 34 patients with are studied in April 2005-April 2006 for evaluatation ofthe radiation treatment response with bone mineral density between 10frÃ3 Gy and 4x5 Gydose-fractions.18 of the patients have taken 10frÃ3 Gy and 16 of the patients have taken 5frÃ4 Gyradiotherapy treatment. Having taken the patient?s self evaluation as basis in the pain tratmentefficiency; the pain intensity is evaluated with respect to VAS pain scale from 1st day to 15day daily, and finally at 45th day. BMD is measured with DXA (dual energy X-rayabsorptiometry) two times; before treatment and on 6 months.Even though there is a significant statistical decrease in the two different dose-fractiontreatment with respect to time, no difference is found between the two groups (p=0.387). It isevaluated that BMD has a 23.4% increase in the 10frÃ3Gy dose-fraction treatment group(p<0.0001); where it has a 19.9% increase in the 5frÃ4 Gy dose-fraction treatment group(p<0.0001). There is not a significant difference on treatment response between the two dose-fraction schedule treatment groups (p>0.605).No predominance is found with respect to pain response and BMD between 10frÃ3 Gyand 5frÃ4 Gy dose-fraction treatment groups. Bone mineral density measurements locallyindicates radiotherapy response more precisely then other conventional method.
