Abstract (EN)

Aim of this research is to determine role of psychological capital as a mediator on the effect between authentic leadership and employee performance. The research was conducted with 265 people who is working in ISKUR in Kayseri and Nevsehir province. In the research, a questionnare was used as a data collection tool. In the first part of the questionnare, questions about the socio-demographic informations; in the second "Authentic Leadership Scale" related to participants' leaders and in the third "Employee Performance Scale" and the fourth "Psychological Capital Scale" were used. Exploratory and Confirmatory Factor Analysis was conducted for the validity of the questionnare and Cronbachs-Alpha internal consistency coefficients were calculated for the reliability. In the analysis of the data, percentage distributions, T Test, One Way Anova Test, Tukey Test, Correlation Test, Hierarchical Regression Test and Sobel Test were used. As a result of the research, it was found that psychological capital had a mediating role in the relationship between authentic leadership and employee performance. It was determined that psychological capital was both related to authentic behaviours and employee performance; enhanced authentic behaviours and increased performance of employees.
