Abstract (EN)

In this study, the relationship among organizational cynicism and job quit intention is examined. In this context, expressing the effects of organizational cynicism towards job quit intention is aimed.The dissertation has three sections. In the first section, social exchange theory, that is the base theory of organizational cynicism, and organizational cynicism concepts are introduced. In the second section, job quit intention, employee turnover, its antecedents, and consequences are explained. In the third section, the results of the study are given. Discussion section contains the evaluation of the results according to the literature and the reasons of the possible similarity and differences with the literature are discussed.In the study, the level of organizational cynicism and job quit intention of the employees that are working in four and five star hotels located in Kuşadası region are studied. Besides, the correlation among the variables is examined. Quiestionnaire technique is used in order to obtain data and, for analysing the data, One-Way ANOVA, t-tests and, regression analyses are applied.According to the analyses, organizational cynicism has a negative relation with the job quit intention. İn other words, employees whı have organizational cynicism have the intention to quit. Besides, demographic variables have effect on both organizational cynicism and its dimensions and job quit intention.KEYWORDSOrganizational cynicism, job quit intention, hotels.
