Abstract (EN)
In the research, the effectiveness of video modeling provided with audio technology support in training individuals with autism spectrum disorder as computer assemblers were examined. In addition, the opinions of the participants with autism spectrum disorder and their parents regarding the research and the social validity of the study were evaluated. The research was conducted with three male participants with autism spectrum disorder at 17 years old. The research was conducted using a multiple-probe design across participants, one of the single-subject research methods. The findings indicated that video modeling with audio technology supports effectively training individuals with autism spectrum disorder as computer assemblers. In addition, it was observed that the participants maintained the computer assembly skills they learned one, two, and four weeks after intervention and generalized them to different environments. The social validity findings revealed that the participants and their parents expressed positive opinions about the research. The findings were discussed in this context, and suggestions for practice and future research were made.
