Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the effectiveness of the video model teaching method on acquiring pretend play skills to three children with autism spectrum disorder. In accordance with this purpose, the research has been Multiple Probe Model with Probe Conditions Across Subject Model which is one of the single subject research models. As required by the research design, the baseline, instruction, collective probe and follow-up phases were arranged. From imaginary play skills; All sub-skills of imaginary functional play, replacing a game tool, imagining non-existent game tools as if they exist, and imagining non-existent features were all evaluated in the research. When the findings obtained in the research are examined; It was concluded that the video model teaching method was effective in acquiring imaginary play skills to children with ASD, the participants were able to maintain these skills, and the social validity of the research was high.
