Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, an example is provided wherein photovoltaic systems are utilized in fully automated greenhouses to enhance product quality and increase production. Alongside the benefits brought about by these innovations in agriculture due to advancing technology, energy consumption continues to rise. One of the approaches to meet this emerging energy demand is the integration of photovoltaic systems into greenhouse environments. In this thesis, the system design, cost analysis, and the payback period of the incurred costs will be exemplified for two distinct types of fully automated greenhouse systems, one grid-connected and the other off-grid, under the conditions of Gölhisar district in Burdur province. The positive and negative aspects of the designed system will be elucidated. Keywords: photovoltaic, solar energy, PV system, automation, greenhouse, renewable energy system (RES)
