Abstract (EN)
ABSTRACT:In this study, the effect of laser welding applications, laser welding and laser welding parameters on microstructure and mechanical properties were investigated in automotive industry. The effect and penetration of the welds and cross sections of the materials on the basis of basic parameters such as power, speed and beam length were investigated. Furthermore, the effect of these parameters on the hardness of the material was analyzed with Vickers Hardness Test. In the study, the studies on the expectations for the use in aluminum alloys, magnesium alloys, titanium alloys and galvanized steel, which are light materials in the production of vehicles in the automotive industry, have been evaluated. Efforts to improve the quality of galvanized steel were evaluated by changing the welding configuration of the galvanized steel, changing the welding composition, changing the mold composition, and evaporating the zinc. The microstructure changes and defects encountered during laser welding of these materials are described and the mechanical properties of sources such as hardness, cutting and tensile forces are investigated.
