Abstract (EN)

In today's societies, studies are carried out continuously to improve education and training. Teaching styles have emerged as a result of these studies and are used in order to facilitate the learning process of the student sector as well as to facilitate the development of the process as well as facilitating the teaching process of teachers. Of course, teaching styles differ depending on the teacher, the students, the current environment, the conditions and the elements that are the subject of the teaching. Within the scope of the study, it was tried to determine the teaching styles of classroom teachers and perceptions about these styles in the context of play and physical activities course. Accordingly, the concept of education was included in the study, the aims of the Turkish National Education system were mentioned, the general teaching methods, the content of the game and physical activities course and the teaching styles were given theoretically. Then, the findings obtained as a result of the field study were analyzed and interpreted in SPSS 22.0 program. The most preferred teaching style of the participants was the command style, and then the most preferred style was the practice style. As a result of the analyzes, it was concluded that the perceptions of teaching styles differ in different sub-dimensions of teaching styles according to gender, age, length of service and type of staff.
