Abstract (EN)
In this study, with the aim of determining the effect of eight-weeks specially prepared plyometrics training on the aerobic and anaerobic powers of sportswomen ( 11 to 13 age) in running branch of athletics, experimental study including control group, pre-test, postest was conducted. 24 sportswomen ranging in age from 11 to 13, 12 of whom from experimental group (who participated into plyometrics training program and athletics training together) and 12 of whom from control group (who only continune with the athletics training) were taken to the study. The study was carried out along with the normal athletics training in the season preparation stage. Sportswomen in the experimental group exercised specially designed additional plyometrics exercises within their training program twice a week with a total duration of 8 weeks whereas control group only exercised their own athletics training. Two measures were taken before and after the training In order to determine the anaerobic power properties of the subjects, vertical leaping tests was applied, whereas for the measuring of the aerobic power properties Cooper Test was applied. In the evaluation of the data, mean test was conducted to compare two dependent samples, Wilcoxon t test was conducted in median values, Mann-Whitney U test was conducted to compare two groups. After 8 weeks training program, the mean anaerobic power property of the experimental group was 50.56± 9.08 km.m/sn before training whereas it was found as 56.45± 10.00 km.m/sn after the training. In the control group, anaerobic power mean was 46.13± 8.72 before training whereas it became 46.83± 7.18 after the training ( p>0.05). With regard to anaerobic power between experimental and control group after the training, statistically significant difference was found ( p<0.05). The maximal aerobic power means of the experimental group were ± 2.61ml/kg dk before the training whereas they became 46.99± 2.79 ml/kg dk after the training ( p<0.05). The maximal aerobic power means of the control group were 42.39± 2.20 ml/kg dk before the training whereas they were determined as 45.27± 2.47 ml/kg dk after the training. ( p<0.05). There is no statistically significant difference with regard to maximal aerobic power between experimental and control group after the training ( p>0.05). In conclusion, it has been found that eight weeks-pliometrics training which was made with athletism training of 11-13 age group women athletism sportswomen has a positive effect on anaerobic power values whereas they don?t have significant effect on aerobic power.
