Abstract (EN)

With the rising of the number of private hospitals, health services to insert a profit- oriented approach. The perspective of private hospitals management has started to use the conceptsof boss and manager seperately and with the insufficiency of the boss or founder in managerial sense. İt has unveiled the need to be managed by professional managers. The manegement of private hospitals by professional managers has caused the need for institutionalization of the hospitals. Recently, it has been observed that with the effect of legal, technological and scientific developments there is a competitive situation in private hospitals where competition and health services are combined. This has led to the preference of private hospitals where qualified labor force with institutionalization is used. In this study, especially in private hospitals, the professionalization and institutionalization of management have been studied. The research was conducted with data collected from private hospitals in Gaziantep province by survey. The aim of the study is to examine the effects of management on professionalization and institutionalization in Gaziantep province. In this study, it was examined whether the professionalization of private hospital management was effective on institutionalization and the professionalization of management was of great importance in order to achieve institutionalization as a result of the analyses performed.
