The aim of this study is to point out the problems which are stemmed from the use oftraditional arts, particularly miniature, in contemporary art. A theoretical survey onseeing and representation of traditional arts and miniature was made. The result ofthe survey is that traditional arts and miniature require a different seeing than today?sseeing regime. In the artistic and practical side of the study the problem is madeclearer thanks to the works produced during the process and other contemporaryartists? works who are working in similar ways.Key Words: Miniature, Seeing, Perspective, Representation
