Abstract (EN)
The transformations in the forms of production with the industrial revolution have led to the change of social systems over time. Due to the change in technology and the means of production, the development of communication tools and communication has also been influential during these systemic transitions and social movements. The concepts of "new communication technologies", "internet" and "new media" and "social media" emerged by the developing technology have been the areas in which the means of communication change and the effect on both social and individual basis. The main features of the Internet, which are claimed to be the fast access to information and fast sharing, the increase in the amount of information, the expansion of the possibilities of interaction, the user's active participation in the communication process, and the effects of new communication technologies on the individual and the subject are the main topics discussed. In this field, the technology, society and the mission of liberating the individual are now being put on the new media / social media. Under this roof, in this thesis, a conceptualization of the concept of freedom in social media is attempted. In this study, the historical development of the concepts of individual and subject, the opening of the concept of freedom and the relationship between the concepts of the individual / subject, the means of production and new communication technologies, communicative transformations experienced within the framework of these technologies are discussed, and social media and economic policy issues related to this The subjects of freedom of the subject in social media tools were discussed by both optimistic and critical approaches.
