Abstract (EN)
Mitochondrial DNA is widely used in order to estimate the amount ofgenetic variability within and between different populations, because of itsconserved structure and organization. Random Amplified Polymorphic DNAPolymerase Chain Reaction (RAPD-PCR) can be used for both systematic andgenetic studies. This tecnique was preferred because of its economic and lesslaborious properties. In this work, the species of Palaemon elegans was studied. Amplificationof mitochondrial DNA of these species was carried out with 39 primers.According to the amplification results of 4 primers, the interior speciespolymorphism of Palaemon elegans was determined. Keywords: Palaemon elegans, RAPD-PCR, polymorphism, mtDNA,amplification
