Perceptions of employees on crisis management activities in private hospitals during the pandemic: The case of Ankara province

The study was conducted to measure employee perceptions of crisis management activities in private hospitals during the pandemic period and to determine whether these perceptions differ according to demographic characteristics. The research was applied to private hospital employees in Ankara and 271 people participated in the research. A questionnaire was used as a data collection tool, and these questionnaires were collected by face-to-face interviews with healthcare professionals and sharing via the Google Questionnaire form. SPSS 22 program was used in the analysis of the data, and in the comparison of the scores obtained from the scales between groups, the independent variable t-test was applied when the independent variable was in two categories, and the one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) methods when it was three-category. For the variables that showed a significant difference for ANOVA, between which groups the difference was, multiple comparison methods comparing the groups in pairs were examined and the LSD method was used. Considering the perceptions of health workers about crisis management activities of hospitals; It has been determined that there is no significant difference according to gender, marital status, education and experience, but there are significant differences in these perceptions according to age and profession of the health worker.
