Abstract (EN)

Throughout history, surveillance in almost all communities; has served as a mechanism for social control. Surveillance since the first day of social relations; it has become one of the important means of maintaining control by establishing community control and linking sovereignty. Surveillance has a characteristic that can affect people's life at any moment. As the society has undergone changes and transformations along with political, social and economic cultural developments, in accordance with these changes, surveillance has also taken new forms. In this context, the social transformations of surveillance are examined in three phases. At the last stage of the thesis, a research was carried out to examine the attitudes of the individuals who are exposed to almost every area in the face of social surveillance. Thus, people who have been exposed to surveillance have sought to measure the awareness of the individual over the surveillance with the renewal of technology socially.
