Abstract (EN)
It is known that paraffin is a material that absorbs neutron and gamma particles. The aim of this study is to obtain the armor material that absorbs neutrons by mixing metal powder with certain proportions of paraffine. Paraffin, epoxy, aluminum, Boron Carbide, niobium, boron, chromium, nickel metal powders and paraffin samples were created using Monte Carlo simulation technique. Some materials were irradiated separately with 4.5 Mav neutrons, and neutron attenuations were observed. It was determined that metal powder-filled materials were more suitable for absorbing neutrons than other materials.
