Abstract (EN)

Spasticity is a muscle control disorder caused by an imbalance of signals from the central nervous system, brain and spinal cord to the muscles. According to the change of the degree of discomfort, it impairs the daily life of concerned people. Therefore it is very important to determine a measure of spasticity. The most commonly used method for the measurement is the Ashworth method. However, it is clear that this method is insufficient. Cause of this reason, the research of spasticity and rigidity continues. In this context, a device was designed which should help to assess the spasticity and rigidity.
